Kareena Kapoor QMobile Commercial, Shame or Celebration?

Kareena Kapoor, the Bollywood Diva would soon be appearing in QMobile advertisement. It has been learnt through the sources. Various media have pooled down their sources in getting bits of the details. The mobile company would feature Kareena in their new advertisement which is said to be to be the expensive one in the mobile advertising world. Many People are claiming that this Kareena Kapoor QMobile Commercial will be another immoral Advertisement like Iman Ali’s Q-Mobile Commercia.

Mr. Zeeshan Akhtar, the CEO and Chairman of the QMobile Company took the concept formation to its execution. Agreements with Kareena began. She has agreed to do the advertisement, seeing the first She Mobile Advertisement that featured Pakistan beauty, Iman Ali.

She was impressed by the directorial debutant of Farooq Mannan, who would be part of the advertisement venture. Kareena would be endorsing Q mobile Noir Z4. In Bangkok, the advertisement shooting will be held. It is said that directors from New York will also be approached to undertake the shooting.

Kareena would be charging high, including the foreign trip expenditure. Hence, the advertisement would be the most expensive in mobile company advertisements

While seeing Bollywood figures in our advertisements is a common practice, with Juhi Chawla appearing in the recent Gai Banaspati advertisement and others in many.

Previously, Q Mobile had featured Aditya Chopra, the Aashiqui hero while previously Fawad Khan had also been casted in the AD.

Indian influence in our markets, our television dramas is not a myth. But the growing trend of hiring Indian celebrities for local ads in not welcoming again. Q-Mobile since past several years has earned much of the market share. Their smart phones are generally liked by all classes of people. Hence, to increase their marketing strategies, they are on the look of attracting their customers through celebrities’ endorsements. Endorsement by celebrities is not objectionable, until or unless it involves intervention by some foreign elements.'
Pakistani actress, model Veena Malik and many other figures that had once been approached by Indian industry ended their good period.
But despite the Indian hostility, we Pakistanis and the media men continue to hire and celebrate the ‘Indians’. I would call it a back ward mind set. We shall be proud of ourselves. What if the mobile phone is endorsed by Atif Aslam and Shehryar? If it takes to attracting fans and increasing your market share, then there are diverse options available than opting for foreign celebrities.

We shall stop beating up the bush and look for better advertising strategies with less investment and good promotional publican endorsement.
