Bangladesh Regime to Ban Channels Operated From Pakistan
Dhaka: Bangladesh Cable television Operators Association and Bangladesh Cable television Owners Association have proclaimed to restrain from conveying Pakistani TV networks in Bangladesh. This originated on Thursday at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University after a consultation between Gonojagoran Mancha and Cable television bodies in Shaheed Dr. Milan auditorium. However many in Pakistan exclaim that such ban on channels tracks back after Pakistan’s disapproval of the execution of Jamaat e Islami leader Abdul Qader Molla.
Few day back
national assembly of Pakistan passed resolution showing Pakistan’s
dissatisfaction over the execution of senior most JI leader in
Bangladesh who actually sided with Pakistan when the movement started to
fragment Bangladesh. Ban after execution of Abdul Qader Molla has
raised serious concerns for Pakistani investors in Bangladesh whether
the alleged biasness can affect their business as well or not
It is difficult to say whether the target of Bengali government is Pakistani oriented nationals or people who have orientation for Islam. Because these incidents are being reported on a regular basis in Bangladesh, sometimes the violence is highlighted in the name of Pakistan whereas sometimes it is blacked out and scarcely few sources are out to cover such atrocities.
